  • The key-note lectures and tutorials of the First and Second International Conferences "Turulent Mixing and Beyond" will be published in the Book.

All the Participants of TMB-2009 are invited to submit their articles for publication.

The Authors are encouraged to send their submissions directly to tmb@flash.uchicago.edu and tmb@ictp.it

The manuscripts submitted for publication are expected to be of interest to the TMB community and have sound motivation and interesting scientific results.

The submission should include:
       - manuscript
(pdf format, with all figures and references)
       - cover letter (pdf format, with formal submission letter,
                   the information regarding the review process).

The deadline for submission is     26 October 2009


The manuscript (tentative) length limit is


posters and post-deadlines:                    10 pages
regular oral talks (25 minutes):               15 pages
invited lectures (35 minutes):                 20 pages
tutorials (45 minutes):                           25 pages
in Letter Paper (8.5 x 11 in) or A4 (210 x 297 mm) format, including figures and references.

Shortening the manuscripts without loss of clarity
is strongly encouraged.

Review process:                           All the submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed.
The authors are welcome to send to the Organizing Committee a list of scientists, who could serve as the referees for their papers, as well as the list of scientists, with whom a conflict of interests can be expected. These lists can be attached to the cover letter.

For the accepted manuscripts, the text and figures can be sent in the following e-formats:
Word, WordPerfect, RTF, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, LaTex, LaTex2E, TeX, postscript, Excel, PowerPoint.

The Organizing Committee plans to publish TMB-2009 Proceedings by August 2010.
When preparing your manuscripts for publication, please take into account that the Institute of Physics publisher requires 3-4 (three-to-four) months for publication of the accepted manuscript, and the Scientific Advisory Committee requires 1-2 (one-to-two) months for consideration of the
manuscript before its acceptance.
