Materials for energy applications:

My main interest is in atomistic materials science for sustainable energy, including new battery materials, photo-electrochemical processes at oxide surfaces, photovoltaic energy conversion, and production and storage of fuels. To investigate these systems, I mostly carry out numerical simulations based on density functional theory and high-performance computing.
