GeneralAs of June 2002 access to the JHEP electronic archive of papers is provided by the Institute of Physics Publishing (IoPP) Electronic Journals service. Access will continue to be free of charge to all interested readers until the end of 2002. As of January 1st 2003, JHEP will be distributed by IoPP on a subscription basis of 1000 euros per year. Developing and low income countries will continue to have free access to the complete archive. If you want to subscribe to JHEP please contact the subscription information office at IoPP. From the JHEP home page you can access all the information about the journal, and, if you are a subscriber, browse and read all the papers published in the Journal. The conference proceedings section and its related services are available to all interested readers for free.
Read the JournalEfficient tools for browsing and reading the journal enable readers to access the entire JHEP archive at the IoPP web site and sort out papers of interest.
There are two methodologies for searching documents matching your interest.
If you know some precise features of the documents you are looking for, you can try the standard search. The interface consists of a form with a number of fields, i.e. paper number, author(s), date of publication. The author(s) field may be completed only in part, i.e. only one author. The system will retrieve all the documents matching all the data entered.
If you wish to retrieve all the documents concerning a given subject but do not have any precise information about them, you can try the full search. This consists in one field only, which you can fill in with any text or sequence of words that describe or characterise the subject. In both cases (standard search and full search) the result of the process is a list of papers published in JHEP. For each document the paper number, author(s), title, date of submission and publication, abstract and keywords are displayed. The retrieved documents stored in the JHEP archive can then be downloaded in three different formats (PDF, PS, HTML).
After retrieving the requested document(s), you can get all the papers published in a particular field simply clicking on one of the keywords which characterise the paper and are displayed along with the metadata. The system will retrive all the documents archived with that particular keyword.
