Costs

JHEP is a non-profit making enterprise, set up and run by the international scientific community for the scientific community itself.

The access to the JHEP electronic archive has been free for the entire community, thanks to the financial support of SISSA, INFN, CERN, ICTP, Weizmann Institute and Stockholm University.

SISSA has now (January 2002) established a long term partnership with the Institute of Physics Publishing (IoPP) in England, a not-for-profit organisation which has taken responsibility of the distribution and marketing of JHEP. IoPP have agreed considerable financial support each year. From January 2003, JHEP (and all other SISSA publishing products) will be made available on a (very reasonable) subscription basis.
