On the nature of the conference proceedings

The conference proceedings will be published in the book series of Kluwer Academic Publishers Cellular Origin, Life in Extreme Habitats and Astrobiology (COLE). A convenient prepublication price will be offered to all participants of the conference (60% discount from the retail price). Kindly notice that no free copies will be distributed.

 

Instructions for the publication of the conference proceedings

The following recommendations should be followed:

1. All manuscripts should be submitted by November 1, 2003 to

Kindly submit an electronic version of the paper and three hard copies sent by Special Delivery Post, one of which should have the keywords highlighted in yellow for the index compilation.

 

2. The manuscripts should be camera-ready prepared according to the instructions provided in the conference folders. Alternatively, the same instructions may be downloaded from the corresponding link of the conference website. 

 

3. The length of the manuscripts should be strictly according to the following scheme:

Up to 8 pp. each for the Special Lectures:

THE CYRIL PONNAMPERUMA LECTURE
THE ABDUS SALAM LECTURE
THE OPENING LECTURE
THE AFTER-DINNER LECTURE
THE PUBLIC LECTURE
CLOSING LECTURE.

Up to 4 pp. each for the keynote presentations.

Up to 4 pp. each for the oral contributions.

Up to 2 pp. each for the posters.

 

4. Before your departure kindly remember to return to the Conference Secretary the "Consent to Publish & Transfer of Copyright" form (duly signed), which will be provided in your conference folder. Alternatively, the same form may be downloaded from the corresponding link.

 

5. For easy reference please refer to the typical camera-ready paper sent to you as an attachment to a circular requesting the contribution.

 

6. All authors will receive 50 off-prints.
