On Thursday, 21 September, 2000 at 10 am, there will be a conducted tour of the Immaginario Scientifico (a science centre). This is appropriate for non scientists, as well as children.

You are kindly invited to give your name to the conference secretary, Ms. Valerie Shaw, before Wednesday, 20 September 2000 at noon.

There is a current exhibition at the "Scuderie di Miramare", about a 20-minute walk from the Adriatico Guest House. (About 10 minutes beyond Miramare Castle.) It concerns the life of Elizabeth of Austria ('Sissi'). The entrance ticket is Lit. 15,000 (about US$ 7).
