Bobby Acharya, Particle Physicist
Welcome to my homepage. I am a physicist, working at both the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics and King's College London, interested in understanding the nature and behaviour of the smallest known constituents of matter and how their behaviour and interactions explain the structure of our Universe.
We investigate these questions using experiments, such as those at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, as well as theoretical models for the behaviour of elementary particles. I actually work on both experiment and theory. On the experimental side I work on
the ATLAS experiment at the CERN LHC and on the theoretical side I work on the particle phenomenology which emerges from string and M theory
