ELECTRONIC MAIL

  • The complete Scientific Calendar can be obtained by sending an e-mail to "smr@ictp.trieste.it" using as "Subject: get calendar 2000". To each activity listed in the calendar there is an associated smr-number from which you can obtain more information -when available. To receive a list with the names of documents available for a particular activity, you should first identify the smr### code as indicated above. Then send an e-mail to: "smr###@ictp.trieste.it" using as "subject: get index" If you send another mail to "smr###@ictp.trieste.it" but using as "subject: get document_name" (e.g. Announcement, etc.) you will receive detailed information on the topic "document_name" Note: if you wish to receive more than one document of an activity then use "Subject: get doc1 doc2 ..." etc.
  • There is a free online service for the dissemination of information on all ICTP activities, programmes and related announcements via e-mail. To subscribe, send an e-mail to: "courier-request@ictp.trieste.it", "subject: leave it empty", and type in the body of the message: subscribe "your e-mail address". Any comments or suggestions on this service are most welcome, please address them to "pub_off@ictp.trieste.it"

    The forms, accessed as above, can be used by all to apply for local/travel support from ICTP. In addition, some Member States have signed Agreements with ICTP to make available -- for their own nationals -- a small number of travel fellowships, for participation in various ICTP activities.
